Discharged at Codford [Wiltshire] 11/11/1914 as no longer physically fit for service (under King's Regulations para 392(iii)c) [this being for soldiers with less than three months service that were unlikely to become effective, not necessarily because they were unwell or injured]. Correspondence on this matter is stamped "94th Field Co., R.E., Gas & Water Works" with an address of Branksome, Bournemouth on some letters. OC's name is illegible.
